The Footy season is wrapping up fast – time to get your Competition ready for the big finish! There are a few steps you can take now, and a few to complete once the final results are in.
Give your customer list a quick health check. Check that all customers are correctly marked as Paid/Unpaid in Venue Admin, and merge any duplicate accounts using our Card Change requests. A tidy database means smooth sailing ahead.
Time for a final review of your AFL and NRL Competition settings. Double-check that your AFL and NRLCompetition settings, Entry Fees, Venue Contributions, Paid Entries, and Prize Breakdowns are spot on. Getting this right now saves headaches later.
Once the final siren sounds (in 2025, it's 28th August for AFL, 8th September for NRL), it's showtime!
Double check your results and score sheets, then declare your winners and let SportsPick work its magic. Our system will automate this for you - just head to the Comp Setup page and click the "Winners" button for each Competition. Our system will crunch the numbers and reveal your champions with their prize amounts.
Remember: Only members marked as Paid can claim their glory!
Once you've confirmed your winners, your AFL/NRL Prize Winners signage will automatically update up at your venue. Your champions get the recognition they deserve, and every customer can see what they're playing for next season!
